Management of operational interfaces
Purpose
Operational interfaces with third parties who provide or receive services, utilities, or products may impact the organisation's operations.

Integrated reading
Operational interfaces include commercial ones. Joint venture partner reporting and cost responsibility between co-venturers are interfaces in the same sense as a pipeline tie-in: poorly defined, they create ambiguity about who decides, who pays and who is told.
