Prevention, control and mitigation measures
Purpose
The measures the safety report claims will prevent, control or limit a major accident, and the performance expected of them: safe operating limits, overfill protection, detection, emergency shutdown, fire protection and containment. Removing a measure, or weakening its performance, removes part of the demonstration.
