What sits here
Barriers against a major accident are identified, specified and built to be fit for purpose from the outset. Hazards are identified, risk is reduced as low as reasonably practicable, and each barrier is given a performance standard it must meet for the rest of its life. Change to plant or wells goes back through the same discipline.
